We are driven by our passion for recovering unclaimed property or assets through diverse disciplines of private intelligence and the dedication of a qualified team of claim researchers.

01. Strategic

We use verified leads to identify outstanding amounts of unrecovered assets and begin a course of action to put those unrecovered assets back into the hands of their rightful owners.

02. Professional

Through the discipline of private intelligence-gathering and our licensure throughout the United States, we are equipped to document heirship to these assets to the highest level of legal due-diligence.

03. Loyal

We work with claimants to acquire necessary documentation and verification through the appropriate third-party entities so that the returns process is executed smoothly, and our claimants’ money is returned for the benefit of their families and their futures.

The Firm’s History

The Numbers Don’t Lie

In 2012, Thomas and Rain Lauth launched the Return Assets Division of Lauth Investigations after discovering the amount of unrecovered assets held by various entities amounted to over $58 billion. Regrettably, the holders have neither the labor or technology resources to locate millions of owners and then work each case collaboratively with the owner to returning the assets.

Billion in Unrecovered Assets

One of our founding principles is something we still believe today: property owners, families, and heirs of the unrecovered assets rightfully deserve the property, whether to pay for college education, clothes, home maintenance, or even for someone just needing a fresh start, which in turn helps the U.S. economy.

Our Vision

Even as we grow, our vision is to retain the feel of a small, family-owned business culture to our clients, claimants, and co-workers while avoiding the entrenchments of power and privilege of a corporate meritocracy environment which lock out innovation, talent, and creativity—those elements crucial to success.
